BojanBorn in Belgrade (SR), Bojan has been involved with rock, jazz and classical music for years. His music is driven by ethnic influences, focusing on Mediterranean melodies from eastern Europe and Spain. Bojan has developed his style with various instruments: classical / flamenco (nylon string), steal string guitars, electric semi-acoustic guitars, 4-string bass guitars, bouzouki and piano.
At the moment, he plays bass guitar for Ranj Singh and the Discrimiators. He is also composing and performing in guitar duos, such as Question and Answer Duo and West Coast Duo. Last but not least, Bojan studies sitar and bouzouki with James Hamilton. You can find some his latest recordings here. |
DavidBorn in Liverpool, England. Started out playing guitar as a teen and switched to drums after I found it more satisfying and more fun hitting the back of it. Bought a set of Rogers drums and formed a power trio - drove parents crazy practicing anything by the "Who" in the basement - especially Quadraphenia.
Most recently I spent a year supporting local singer song writer Carolyn Stewart in developing her original songs and have worked with a very talented young singer song/writer, Melissa Endean, laying down four drum tracks for her new CD "Authentic". I have been with Ranj and the Discriminators for several months now and feel right at home. Ranj is a gifted song writer and lyricist and my band mates are very talented musicians. It's a privilege to be bringing the beat - on the kit and on hand drums - to Ranj's existing songs and the new songs we are developing. |
