Well it's been over 4 months since the last newsletter or any kind of update as to what we have been doing. It's been a challenging few weeks, and we are hoping to catch up soon.

Our Olympic adventure was incredible. We were able to play to a captive audience of thousands while they waited for the doors to open for men's and women's ice hockey. We met folks from all over the world and made a ton of new fans. Our website www.ranjsingh.com has had thousands of hits since the games from Russia, Latvia, Germany etc. We gave out band t shirts and people took over 500 business cards. We were also voted as one of Vanoc's top acts by Vanoc Entertainment Director David Jones and assistant Director Leanne Koehn. It was a humbling yet incredible experience.

To follow this up we were asked to perform at the Paralympics Sledge Hockey games by Vanoc! It was while on route to our first sledge hockey game on March 14th that things took a turn. Chris and I were involved in a car accident (not at fault), and we ended up missing the once in a life time gig. Chris ended up in hospital and my car was a write off, and I too have injuries. Man how quickly things can change. Not only did we miss playing for that weekend, but were unable to play for the finals the following week.

Everything we had accomplished and were about to accomplish came to a halt. We were supposed to be in studio in April to record the second album. Turns out that we were not able to start playing again until late May and into June. We will just take things now one day at a time, and do our best to recapture the momentum.

Recently we have hooked up with some new and interesting people and look forward to working with them. We are now managed by the talents of Jenn Ashton c/o www.raveonstudio.com. For bookings and info please call Jenn at 604-294-3007.

Party In The Park! Party in the Park takes place every Friday night in July and August from 5:00pm–10:00pm. Bring your entire family for a night of music and entertainment under the canopy of the summer evening sky in our beautifully landscaped Central Community Park (Corner of Victoria & Young.) Spread out a blanket on the cool green grass, lie back and relax! The Entertainment Stage will light up with local musicians and up and coming artists. Welcome back to our host Trevor McDonald!

So we are all prepared for the Olympics. Passes have been obtained, security and background checks were completed (phew), and contracts have been signed. Special thanks to our co-manager Jenn at Rave On Studios for getting this started. It's been a fun experience to be a part of this from the get go. Here are the seven shows:
